Catherine Hickland has done it again! The OLTL star, who plays Lindsay, has opened a studio especially for women! "In spite of everything that's happened, I'm pressing forward, because if there's nothing else I've learned, people still have to go and make themselves feel better in any way they can," she tells Update.
Hickland's new venture is a makeup studio featuring her Cat Cosmetics. "It's designed like a living room. It has a very Santa Fe adobe feel inside. It's a place to go and shop for makeup that's peaceful, and there's no pressure," she explains.
Hickland says that during November and December, she'll be holding Saturday classes, "I'll book nine or ten women at a time. We have lessons, we'll talk, we're doing a "chicknic," she laughs, "where chicks get together and eat and talk about makeup or anything else they want to."
The cost per person will be applicable towards the purchase of makeup that day.
The studio is on Manhattan's Madison Avenue between 79 and 80 streets.
Hickland will also offer something very special to women. "I'm going to be having private parties for bridal showers, baby showers, birthdays."
The studio is also open to people who just want to come in and purchase her products. Hickland introduced her successful line of cosmetics in February and they are also available online at CATCOSMETICS.COM.
Why the new project? "It's a way for me to connect to women that I understand and can do some good with." Way to go, Catherine!
