I know, I know, I've fallen behind again.  I do have a good excuse, though.  I'm dumping Tripod once and for all and I'm getting set up with my own domain for this site and a few others.  Everything should be in place in a few weeks.  Updates until then will be scarce.  But I do promise that I have quite a few new pictures to share at that time and a brand-spanking new design.  Nothing special but it should be easier to read for those who don't like the dinky fonts or the colors of the current site!

Title:  The Mirror Has Two Faces

OLTL's "Colin" Kidnaps Troy - And Forces Lindsay To 'Fess Up! But Will It Cause Double Trouble?

"Lindsay's been a -------- for a couple of years," sighs her portrayer, Catherine Hickland. "It's been one evil deed after another, without a week off in between." No joke. From exposing Nora's pregnancy at the 1998 Woman Of The Year ceremony; to futzing with the DNA tests on Nora's son, Matthew, in 1999; to arranging Nora's kidnapping after her pelvis was crushed in a train accident,
then injecting the attorney with a mind-erasing drug in 2000.  Lindsay has gotten away with everything but murder. This week, it turns out that Lindsay has met someone with a more vicious revenge streak than she has - Troy - and has fallen in love with him at the same time. And that combination means that she's about to get her comeuppance...in spades.

"The audience is anxious to see Lindsay get what's coming to her and to see what Troy is up to," explains Executive Producer Gary Tomlin.  "This is going to affect the dynamics of all four of these people - Sam, Nora, Lindsay and Troy."

"Colin" drops in on Lindsay at the gallery on Monday and shows her a troubling videotape "proving" that he's kidnapped Troy. "Colin" then refuses to let his twin go until Lindsay comes clean about what she did to Nora. "It's a very Alfred Hitchcock moment," says Hickland.  "Like Vertigo. You can't believe what you're seeing. But Lindsay does believe what "Colin" says, and when he offers to bring her to Troy, she can't turn him down. "She's not worried about her own safety," notes Hickland. "For once in her life, she's putting someone else first. She's worried about Troy. So, to find out that it's Troy doing this to her is going to be devastating on so many levels."

Nora runs to Sam and spills to him about the syringe incident. "All he hears is that Lindsay came after Nora with a syringe, and he goes off half-cocked," explains Smith. Sam bursts into Lindsay's gallery to confront her about the syringe, but by than "Colin" and Lindsay have left; Sam assumes that she and Troy have eloped to France, as they originally announced.

"Colin" brings Lindsay to an abandoned amusement park fun house, where he's supposedly holding his twin. Despite his determination to hear Lindsay tell the truth, Troy is beginning to have second thoughts about the morality of what he's doing. "In the beginning, Troy didn't think that he was going to feel bad," explains Ty Treadway (Troy). "Now that he's seeing the effect this is having on
Lindsay, and how into Troy she is, he's starting to feel bad. That said, he's keeping his purpose in mind." It's a purpose that Nora tried repeatedly to dissuade him from, insisting that she's ready to put the past to rest. But Troy knows better: "She could have put an end to it numerous times, and she didn't," says Treadway. "Troy believes this is what she really wants, but she's being
self-sacrificing for the good of her family. That's one of the reasons he is so attracted to her."

But there's another reason, points out Tomlin. "He's also doing it for himself. Troy has it in his head that Colin cannot be guilty of all the things everyone says about him. Someone had to have pushed Colin over the edge, and that somebody was Lindsay. Otherwise, it's too scary. Because if that isn't true, then Troy could be capable of those things too. In his zeal to prove himself right, Troy reveals a
much darker side."

At the funhouse, "Colin" vanishes, and Lindsay comes across a beaten and cuffed Troy, who explains that Colin was doing all this because of her. He turns on the full force of his charm and begs her to confess, to admit that she drugged Nora - and that it wasn't all Colin's doing. Lindsay, naturally, is torn: "She's crazy in love with Troy," explains Hickland. "She's letting her guard down completely for probably the first time in her life." So, by the end of the week, her confession is primed to come out - as is Troy's "Gotcha" once she blabs. But it may not lead to the consequences Troy has planned. "This could blow up in his face," teases Tomlin.  "As much as he thinks he's dong this for Nora, there's a real chemistry going on with Lindsay. The tables may actually be turned.
